E-Signature in database and general info

Issue: How do E-signatures work? What events is it involved in e.g. Location Code modifications, Sample Modifications, etc.? Where is the E-signature stored in the database and can it be viewed as a document? 

Solution: E-signature requests the user to re-enter their login credentials along with a reason for the requested change. It can be used for all objects and state transitions available in the workflow architect for data changes that do not involve state transitions. If the change does involve a state transition, the E-signature will not appear. The signing stamps the SAMPLE table with the SIGUSER and SIGDATE. The audit trail shows all events where a signing has occurred.
