Samples – Complete Sample Lifecycle

This lesson provides a structured overview of the complete sample lifecycle within LABWORKS eLIMS. It begins with sample creation and login profiles, including sample collection through the mobile application and barcoding with label printing at the time of login. Learners will understand how to properly register samples and ensure accurate traceability from the start.

The module also covers assigning analyses, setting priorities and due dates, and linking samples to projects, customers, and container information. Participants will learn how to navigate the Sample screen using Sample Explorer and WQM to efficiently manage and monitor sample data.

In addition, the lesson explains how to enter and review results, add comments and attachments, and track workflow history. It concludes with an overview of status progression—from Ready to Collect through Completed—and demonstrates how to search, filter, and export sample lists using the LABWORKS export tool.
